Reddit – Dive into anything

I am a tattoo artist who uses Facebook to acquire most of my clientele. So far it has worked really well for me, but I’m trying to make it work even better.

My most successful posts have always been giveaways. Here is what I have been doing.

The rules to be entered into the giveaway were: follow me if you aren’t already, react, comment, and share. Winner is announced 2 weeks after the post is made.

My last giveaway organically had 17k reach, 2.6k clicks, 586 reactions, 450 reactions, and 251 shares.

I have a little over 5k followers.

What I’m going to do differently this time; Instead of commenting they will have to tag 2 friends. I am going to pay a heavily tattooed local OF girl to promote my post. She will probably share the giveaway and then make a separate (thirst trap-ish) post telling people to enter my giveaway. She has 16k followers, mostly in my state. I would also like to boost on top of that.

Is boosting worth it? I know you can set different parameters for a boost, so what should I set them to ideally? How much should I spend? I’m very new to this, so any advice and tips are appreciated.

My biggest goal is to get as many shares as possible.
