Pretty much anything other than Yoast.

    I like SEOPress.

If you are going to go with RankMath, just use the free version. There is absolutely nothing in their premium version that is worth paying for.

Glad we all agree rankmath is the way to go. Would not recommend paying for it though.

Switched to Rankmath like a year ago and it’s super cool. Using it on all my sites.

Tried installing Yoast and SEOFramework on others, it’s all the same really, just a different UI.

Over the years we have used RS SEO (on Joomla), sh404SEF (Joomla), Yoast, All in One SEO, SEOPress, RankMath, and SmartCrawl Pro.

Honestly, it’s really hard to tell any meaningful difference between them. We already pay for a WPMU Agency subscription so we just use SmartCrawl Pro. I don’t think it does anything the others don’t, and I don’t think the others do anything it doesn’t. It’s just a matter of personal choice.

I do like how SmartCrawl displays the data on the posts/pages screen. Showing the preview of the meta data is pretty handy. At least on All in One and Yoast you have to click through to the specific post/page to see that.

Yoast for about 6 years. I’ve only used the free plugin though I’ve gotten do much value I should send him some $.

I’ve been using Yoast for years. I switched to Rankmath last year on one site to see how it works—and rankings plummeted. I played with settings but couldn’t find what was causing the issue. I switched back to Yoast.

I really liked how Rankmath looked and worked though and may play with it again.

    Started off with Yoast.

Then build a brand-new website (new project) with a whole new tech stack. I swapped to Rank Math.

So far (4 weeks in) RM looks like it’s better everywhere than Yoast everywhere so I’ll be using it on my other sites soon as well.

Some things I like about RM:

    – Better / cleaner UI
    – Better schema (e.g. very easy to add stars to SERPs – Yoast makes this a way bigger hassle)
    – Easily hook it up w/ GA & GSC w/o the need for something like MonsterInsights

Definitely Rank Math. A lot more features and more stable.

We have been using yoast and rank math and to choose between either of two, I would go for rank math for a cleaner ui and better setup wizard and more features in the free version compared to Yoast. Reading the comments it seems that seoframework is worth a try.
