Probably the first thing I’d do is keep my ideas for myself and the person with 50 billion. ????

I’d probably opt with something far more inclusive, and decentralized of course. Would include Ocean-like data market mechanics, eth building capabilities, and of course, Fun token gaming capabilities. Overall, it would be better then your average idea of a Metaverse

Bruh. This is literally a social media app developer looking for ideas about their app. Antidot.app or whatever. At least write that in the title or something

Promise me 50 billion dollars and then we’ll talk. I won’t actually know my answer until I’m in that situation. 😉

With a $50 billion budget, I’d buy MySpace for cheap since it sucks now, then I’d dust off their old servers they presumably have stored away in the basement in the corner.

Then I’d have the Best Buy geek squad recover and restore everyone’s old data, messages, blogs, music, pictures and all the cringey comments they wrote back in middle school.

Then I’d pay Tom a nice big salary to run it again & restore it to its former glory.

People are so negative, this was a really interesting question. I recommend asking it in r/popculture or r/entertainment or r/entrepreneur where you may get a better response from ppl. Just remember to make sure the post follows the rules and caters to the audience, like for example for r/popculture you could do:

“If you were offered 50 billion dollars to change something about social media or create a completely new and better platform, what would it be and how do you think mainstream would react to it?”

Something like that, just include what the sub is about. 🙂

Call it rarity. Accepts 1 minute long video posts and they expire after 2 hours. Can pin 1 post for 24 hours. Over 5k followers you can go live

Something focused on making quality content instead of quantity content. Limit the amount of posts and videos one can upload per day, encourage people to put effort into making cool videos and posting creative thoughts and well-thought replies. Make sure that the posts get as much visibility as possible, based on keywords and followers. Every post will show up on every follower’s feed at least once. Encourage interaction with speech bubbles, like: “share your thoughts on this post” and “sharing is caring”…
