Sponsored Tag Inquiry
Quick question – I know rel"=sponsored" is a tag people are using now that lets crawlers know that this link was paid for or not spam. But I'm getting a bit puzzled with a site that is doing this:
<a class="sponsored-link" href="\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\_">_____</a>
It's a bit confusing as it's not tagged as a traditional sponsored link but it has that class part in the front. Just wondering about its relevancy and its impact on link juice – TIA!!
