1. Test out the TikTok app before going live

First, you’ll want to test out the app before going live. This way you can see where the different buttons are, and how the app works. You don’t want to be fumbling around with it when you’re trying to make a big impression! So if there are aspects of the app that throw you off guard or make you feel uncomfortable, try running through them ahead of time so they don’t come as such a surprise on stage.

2. Get your tech ready

If you are streaming from your iPhone or another mobile device, make sure your phone is charged and ready to go! It might be a good idea to use a wired charger or an external battery pack if you’ll be using your phone for a long time.  You should also check that your computer or device isn’t overheating, which can cause the camera to freeze.

3. Make sure that your internet connection is strong enough

You want to make sure that your live stream is going to be as high quality as possible, so it’s worth it to check in with your internet provider and make sure that you’re set up for success. How to go live on TikTok

Launch the app on your iPhone or Android mobile device. Simply tap the “Plus” (+) icon in the bottom-center of the screen.
