  • Why won’t Google re-index my page

I have made major changes to one of my pages that was ranking OK on Google. I used the Google Search Console to “Request Indexing”. I have done this several times over the last few weeks and it still shows the same Last Crawl value.

I can’t seem to post any links to our website or Google without the post being auto-rejected on this channel for some reason which is frustrating. If you search for “active rfid tag”, my page shows up on page 3, second from the top with the title “RFID, Active RFID v.s. Passive RFID – InfinID Technologies”. If you click on the … and then Cache you will see that Google’s cache page is definitely the old one.

Google seems happy to re-index other pages on my site but it doesn’t seem to want to do this one. What is going on? Could it be that the page is so different that they don’t want to re-index it?

I would appreciate some feedback as I am an SEO newbie.
