Why tools like Opteo, Optmyzr, adalysis are so expensive?

Posted by fuckingcunt87 on April 15, 2023 at 6:37 am

Hi guys, why do those kinds of tools have such pricey subscription plans and don’t offer much? Do they pay a lot of money for Google APIs, or are they just greedy? Their recommendations on campaigns are not that different from Google ones. Semrush is cheaper and offers much more(i know its more SEO tool, but still), so interested to hear your opinion on this. Thanks

These are niche tools. The customers for these kind of products are very few as compared to something like Creative Cloud or Office 365. So they charge more from the few people who are willing to pay for them.

The market for these tools isn’t that large so you need to charge a fair amount to cover ongoing development and marketing costs + overhead and make a healthy profit.

Of the tools I think Optmyzr is worthwhile because it automates things that you can’t do with Google Ads directly. For example, applying bulk value rules is valuable and can save a lot of time. If you still use manual bidding or standard shopping, they offer tools to optimize bid adjustments and build SPAGs for you.

Most of the others just do things in a slightly different way that Google already does. Don’t buy into any “better bidding” jargon, nobody can beat Google’s automated bidding as they are the only ones with full access to user and query data.

As for Google’s API, it’s 100% for Google Ads.
