  • Why aren’t my Instagram reels getting any views?

Posted by Flashy-Ant7866 on June 25, 2023 at 2:49 pm

Although I have a larger follower base on Instagram than on TikTok, my TikTok posts gain more traction and result in new followers. Despite using trending audios, relevant hashtags, and ensuring my videos are of good quality, my reels on Instagram aren’t being seen at all. This has been the case for the past few months.

Any suggestions or experiences to share?

Hey, if that’s the case, then I have no idea why you aren’t getting any

You should be getting at least a few views

Could you share your insta account so I can see your reels and see what can be improved?

Algorithm Changes: Social media algorithms are constantly evolving, and Instagram may have made changes that affect the visibility of Reels. It’s possible that your content is not aligning well with the current algorithm’s preferences. Stay updated with any algorithm changes and adjust your content strategy accordingly.

Are you sure you haven’t been shadow-banned?

FB and IG are currently flooded with paid ads as well as what meta thinks should be seen. I’ve turned to # keywords to get views. Even then, spam takes over. For the foreseeable future meta is a bust for marketing.

I started Instagram 3 weeks ago and now my account reaches 240k. I have posted around 20 reels so far, averge view is 500-2k, 100-300 comments. My latest reel just got 300k views and 6000 likes. Im doing travel videoes from my vacations. Didnt expect it to go this quick. But just 1k followers. My dream is to use my IG to get good deals when traveling. Just don’t know when I’ll be able to be interesting. It is followers or reach? In my opinion it’s the reach, if you can garantee an minimum amount of views. Havent figured out how to hit the algoritm yet. IG is haaaard

You’re not alone, the Instagram algorithm has been a challenge lately. Both Instagram and TikTok require a strong and loyal audience base. If you see more potential benefits from Instagram, then focus more on it. Try to grow organically. Explore various strategies out there or consider hiring a growth service. I’ve had a positive experience with Ascendviral, they apply the follow/unfollow method. It’s an effective way to grow followers and increase engagement. However, don’t just rely on going viral, it’s become a hit or miss situation these days.

I’m finding this same issue. I have over 100k on IG and just a month ago I was getting 20k+ views. Now I’m getting not even 6k views. I really don’t know what’s happening and I’m getting discouraged ????

Maybe you are using too much hastags, Using too many hashtags is a mistake that most of us make every time we publish content on Instagram. We simply Google ‘Instagram hashtags’ and copy and paste them without ensuring their quality and quantity, which can create issues.

Have you checked your posting consistency and timing? Consistently posting at optimal times when your audience is most active can help improve visibility.

If by no views you mean literally 0 views, then in that case I would assume that your Instagram profile is in the shadowban. Ask your friend to search for your profile in the general search results from his device. If it is not there, then in this case your profile has actually been banned.
