Why Aren’t My Dofollow Backlinks From Solid News Sites Being Found By Backlink Reports from Tools Like SEORush?
I’ve been doing a ton of content marketing lately, and getting a lot of articles written with nice dofollow links in high DA newspapers. But when I check SEM Rush, non of these links are popping up, but it is somehow finding crappy old links that are showing up in trash forums and thinks like that… what is the deal here? These are definitely dofollow links.

I can’t speak to SEMRush or their crawling/indexing/parsing.
But if the page with the link has been cached by Google, Google knows about the link. That is what is important. Not if a 3rd party knows about it.

Maybe the sites block semrush

Did you check to see if the links are indexed on google. Do they all come up if you search the article?
