    I want to start social media management for restaurants, I wonder who is gonna be in charge to take pictures of their foods?

    This will probably depend on the restaurant. I’ve spoken to a few places locally and some didn’t want to pay for photography so they just took photos when they could. You just want to explain the importance of quality photos!

    I also currently work for a drs office and they privide all their own photos due to HIPPA laws but their marketing manager is older and every other photo is blurry and out of focus so I have to ask her to redo them and often miss deadlines or have to scrap ideas.

    if you can always be the one taking the photos or subcontract a photographer.

    Managing social media when you are aren’t there will be quite hard in my opnion.

    If one of your KPIs is going to be interaction and engagement(which are direct drivers of social media growth) you’re going to want to curate AND create all of the content yourself. Otherwise you’re going to get pictures or copy that isn’t properly formatted etc.

    The issue is that you as an “outsider” to the business may not know all the small nuances and niches that give the content “heart” if that makes sense.

    It’s a sliding scale, and your job as the social media management firm will be to lay out expectations to your client up front, and figure out how best to meet them.
