Which days are the best to post on & how often should I post?
Just started managing the Instagram & Facebook accounts of a small company focused on children’s entertainment.
I’ve been posting 3 days a week (T, W, Th) around 11am. Is this an effective number of post per week? What would be the best days to post?
When is the best time of day to post? I see a lot of conflicting info on this.

If it’s children’s entertainment, I would aim for times that parents would most likely pick up their phone. I would aim for lunch and 10-11:30pm for the 9-5ers and for the stay at homers I would aim for morning nap times and afternoon nap times and around 8-9pm. Also, on a lot of apps, when you open it up a lot of times the feed isn’t all the way refreshed without people realizing it or because of different time zones so the delay actually can create more exposure. I wouldn’t recommend more than 4 posts per week unless your heavily promoting something new. I would also avoid weekends since that’s when parents are with their kids more (depending on the fam of course) and less likely to be on their phone a lot.

Assuming you refer to pages, you got to assume that 1% of fans/followers will see your content.
Groups are the best because they don’t fall under the algorithm.

I’d say experiment. I was told early in the morning on Twitter works great, found 5PM gets more engagement for me

When it comes to the best days to post, it really depends on your target audience. Generally, the best days to post are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. However, you should also consider the type of content you’re posting and the age group of your target audience.
For example, if you’re targeting teenagers, you may want to post more on the weekends. If u want to target a specific audience there is this agency called Ascend viral. They may help you to get those followers organically. They will help you to target the audience that u need for your account.
As for the best time of day to post, it’s usually best to post in the morning or early afternoon. This is when most people are online and actively engaging with content.

Experiment to find what works for your content with your audience. There are plenty of reports that have been published over the years that suggest the best days and times to post across various channels, but they’re rarely granular enough to be perfectly applicable to individual situations.

You are asking a loaded question since it will be different for everyone. I would suggest doing some A/B testing with your audience. Try different posting times and content, watch which gets the most engagement and then go from there

Posting atleast 5 times a week helps a lot. You have to be consistent from there on.

I always like to post when people are winding down for the night and playing on their phones. Kids will most likely be in bed by 8:30, and then parents will be relaxing until they go to bed. I’d post around 9:00pm
