Had my first angry client, I did 10 pages for his website, he chewed me out hard with every page, he was holding back anger for sure, saying some stuff doesn't make sense to him, saying some things seemed generic (these were already on the original content), saying some things sounded AI-generated (again some of the original content seemed AI generated). He wants me to re-do all the pages, but not really telling me what exactly he wants such as the headings or certain taglines, cause the original content is generic and doesn't make sense themselves. I've had like 15 clients before this but this is the first that was overly problematic with the content.

Did the scope of the work include you writing content for the client? If not, and you’re putting up what he gave you and it’s causing him to be angry, he’s not worth having as a client. Fire him.

    Do you need the money?

If not, refund and quit working with him.

    Annoying clients are the worst.

Listen to Grumpy SEO Guy episode 6 “The Best and Worst Clients I’ve Ever Had, and What I Learned From Them.”

We denied our highest paying client at the time. I lost a lot of money. And I was no longer nervous to read email.
