Where do I find invoices for boosted Posts in Facebook?
I’ve recently secured a new position as a Social Media Manager at a mid-sized company! My role involves working extensively on advertising campaigns, and my boss occasionally utilizes promoted/boosted posts to drive more traffic.
However, I’m facing a challenge in tracking expenses for these posts. I’ve been unable to locate any invoices for the costs associated with these sponsored posts. Even reaching out to Facebook Support hasn’t yielded a solution, as they consistently direct me to the ‘Billing’ section in the Ads Manager. Unfortunately, this section doesn’t seem to provide invoices for the promoted posts.
If anyone has insights or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your help!

It should be under Billing. If you aren’t seeing any invoices, it could be your permissions on the account. You might be set up with ‘partial access’. Under Business Settings, check and see if you have ‘full control’.

I’ve been down the rabbit hole before. I never found it on business manager but rather through the app. There’s a way to find it on your professional dashboard – linked on your profile. I haven’t boosted in a while so I don’t know the exact path. You can also find it in settings > business tools and controls > ad payments then select the payment method you need invoices for.
It’s not great for allocating costs to specific posts. But it’s at least a way to prove where money was spent.
