What’s your opinion on Semalt SEO services?
Semalt offered us a 3000€ quote for 100-150 backlinks/month swearing it’s gonna be hight quality websites.
I don’t believe it.
What’s your opinion on this kind of service? Isn’t it dangerous for seo?

100-150 of high quality backlinks would cost significantly more than that. Never heard of this company but sounds off. There are certainly legit ways to get high quality backlinks but it takes a lot of time and outreach

Anyone still selling backlinks as SEO services, is a noob or a scammer, either choice is not good!

That is way too cheap for that many high quality links.

25+ years in SEO, I have over 76 test sites. I used them to test them. I do not recommend them at all. Look at the Hoth for cheap backlinks. In SEO you get what you pay for.
It’s ok to start out cheap, when you get serious it’s 3k+ a month for a reputable agency. Look at my previous post to get a check list of how to hire an SEO agency. Wish you the best, happy to answer any questions you have

Semalt, who used to spam Google Analytics so they showed up as referrals in everyone’s account?

Semalt has a history that is not so good. For a while they did a massive amount of analytics referrer spam. It got so bad that most sites noticed, and it was a nightmare filtering out all the fake semalt traffic.
Google “semalt referrer spam” and you’ll see what they did.
Not a company I’d give my money to or my clients money.
