    What’s working right now on LinkedIn for lead generation?

    I work at an agency and we’re stepping foot into linkedin ads – wondering what’s working right now? Clicks to landing page, lead gen within linkedin, other?

    Both of them have worked for me. The caveat is that you also need to work on your organic presence on LinkedIn. It cant be mindless ad creation like we are able to do on Facebook. And ofcourse, like any other ad platform, audience selection and creatives also play a huge role.

    $1-$3 in cpc seems optimal. CPA might vary from company to company, I guess.

    Lead gen and document ad formats for leads. Don’t bother sending users to landing pages, too much friction and results aren’t anywhere as good as keeping them on platform.

    ABM data. Utilise this when possible. Company and/or contact list. Build LLAs to test.

    Creating content with real value is the main thing.
    Creative and messaging should be clear in the offering and concise. No conceptual shit. Also statics work better in my experience than carousel formats etc for lead gen.

    Experiment with awareness and traffic objectives, sometimes awareness produce way cheaper CPMs and actually generate more clicks (sometimes).

    Don’t use audience expansion

    Lead generation didn’t work that well for us we didn’t have a high lead volume and also saw high CPM’s. Granted the industry of our clients business is more in the AI space, so i know that plays a part, however a traffic campaign with static images is working well for us atm. Low CPC’s , high reach, we have lists uploaded etc.

    All the above ideas are solid, but a very simple and often overlooked strategy is Retargeting. A few good examples are to Retarget people who visit high value pages on your website and also retarget people who watch product videos on Linked, make sure they watched at least 75% of the video.
