Whats the best way to track email leads and also get Google/Bing/FB GCLID/UTM data?
Hi,
I want to track conversions on people clicking our email link in the contact us page as well as the footer of the site.
We use Google/Bing/FB for adverts that bring people to our landing pages, I want to grab the GCLID/UTM data through not only the form we have at the top of the page but if people contact us by email as well AND PHONE if possible.
In your experience what’s the best way to do that?

This will let you tie the parameters to people contact you:
CallRail or similar services for tracking phone calls.
For tracking emails you could use some javascript/php/etc to grab the url parameters and add them to the body parameter in the email link. This is not bulletproof for a range of reasons but it might be good enough as a start.
If you’re just wanting to track conversions you can do this with the conversion tracking tools that come with Google Ads. I can’t comment on FB as I don’t know anything about it.

You can use url builder from Google and for Facebook make sure you have installed the pixel. You can track the results in Google analytics then. Any better ways?
