What to learn for a job interview

Posted by seohelper on November 11, 2020 at 7:39 am

    Hey guys,
I have opportunity to apply for a new job as PPC Junior with chance to learn the PPC there . But I am nervous because I have never done PPC like in agency. Only learn on my own, but never had a chance to try ppc like in a practical way. Only watched like videos on YouTube etc. What should I learn for the practical test If you know what I mean. The interview is 2 rounded. First introducing and after is like PPC test. (maybe like asking me what is CTR etc. IDK)
I know it could be a stupid question, but I really like to apply for a job as PPC Trainee and get to know how PPC is done.

    Thank you so much!

The thing that is most important to me when interviewing new hires is that they understand the backgrounds.

Honestly for a trainee or junior position you can’t expect a lot of skills or proven work. Brush up your knowledge, learn about the backgrounds of the algorithm, learn about how bidding works for different campaign formats.

Also be yourself, don’t bullshit and admit to not knowing if that’s the case. In most good agencies I know entries are not hired by skill but rather by personal fit and potential. So present yourself as someone eager to learn. Show that you can comprehend complex systems and communicate that you are motivated and eager to learn.

You’ll stand out with good Excel skills. Try to learn Vlookup and Pivot Tables, then if you want to learn a little more, Index Match.
