If you post Renaissance artwork, then look to sell merchandise under the same theme. A lot of fans of Renaissance art are a bit like vegans. They love other people to know it’s their thing, so I imagine many of them would want to rock some Renaissance art-themed goods.

The hard part is making sure it’s pretty decent merch. You won’t get away with punting some low-end, poor-quality t-shirts, caps, hoodies etc.

Depends on what kind of audience you’ve built. If it’s been value and specific intention driven content, there are many ways to monetize your audience.

If you’ve gained those followers simply by following trends, the number of followers may be irrelevant.

I know folks who have had over 100k followers and couldn’t make a dollar because they built the audience with no real content or plan

Unfortunately it’s very possible you won’t make any money or very little money even with 300k followers. Those followers need to be targeted and share the same interests as you or your products or services. It’s like trying to sell snow to the Eskimos. They’re surrounded by the stuff and don’t need it. Your Products & Services need to be sought after by your followers. The only way that can happen is by finding out what your followers want.

I think it’s more about engagement per post / stories and then send those stats to company’s and they will consider sending things for free and then if you make sales through that they may offer you a paid sponsorship , easier said than done though for sure

I have a friend who runs about 30 meme accounts that all have their own niches. His smallest account is 400k and he makes about $5-10k a month, but he probably works 80-90 hours a week.

I know some people that have sold their account entirely for a decent amount of $$
