It doesn’t require people to be on a different platform. I’d imagine Clubhouse will be the next Vine. It was fairly innovative but millions of people are already on Twitter; it’s going to devour Clubhouse

I visited one that Kevin Durant was in. It felt familiar. I liked scrolling my timeline while I listened. Granted I do the same with Clubhouse, but it doesn’t have the same value with an existing platform like Twitter.

As someone running brand accounts, I like the access and visibility without the barrier for entry. The content is hit or miss, but it’s basically free. I’ve heard worse on school radio.

I’ve been to two Twitter space things and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, even just as a listener (got too nervous to speak tbh). Haven’t tried Clubhouse yet, but to someone else’s point, Twitter def has an advantage with not needing to have a whole separate account and app for this.

I’ve been using it since the beta and feel it’s better than Clubhouse. It’s brought a new kind of connection to my followers and people I follow, and I’ve found new people and spoken to people I thought I would ever speak to in my life.

For instance, Chris Do is someone I’ve watched on YT for a while (The Futur). He created his first Twitter Space to invite people to talk about one of his more recent videos. I have a purple emoji which means I can host, which he noticed. He then brought me up and asked how he’s doing, which led to one of my most favourite discussions.
