According to wpx hosting, the site is clean now but the traffic is suffering and I feel it’s due the 100s of 404 backlinks that were received back in april. Wondering if I should remove these links since they are coming from unrelated niche but they are around 30DA.

If you think those looks spammy than immediately remove the links.

I would disavow them just in case as it’s not going to hurt but might help.

If it has nothing to do with your niche chances are it could be giving your competitors a slight advantage over you.

Disavow. You only want real links, regardless of what the “metrics” may suggest. DA is bullshit and will cost you traffic if you lean into it as the primary way to evaluate link effectiveness.

Thanks everyone. I went ahead and removed them all. Hopefully, the traffic will go back to normal soon.
