we installed new twitter pixel using Google Tag Manager. no revenue is being passed to the twitter ads “Purchases – sale amount”
Trying to troubleshoot why Twitter Purchase events are no longer reporting ‘Purchase – sale amount’.
A couple months ago, we installed the “new Twitter Pixel” that has the base code and event code using Google Tag Manager (GTM) as described [on Business.Twitter.Com here](https://business.twitter.com/en/help/campaign-measurement-and-analytics/conversion-tracking-for-websites.html). Everything works fine except now we don’t see any revenue value being reported. We do see conversions/purchases but no revenue. Revenue populated/ worked fine on old pixel.
I ran some tests with a $2.00 test product in two ways:
\- Used GTM preview mode and watched the tags firing, etc while running a test transaction.
\- Used Twitter Pixel Help Chrome extension and watched the Twitter Pixel tags firing, etc while running a test transaction.
When looking at the data being passed via GTM, i do see, in some cases, the numbers looking like they are surrounded by quotes and in other places not. Shouldn’t revenue be displayed as a decimal value without quotes?
