Update my website now or wait till the GCUs are over?
Hello,
I run anime news website and although I haven't been hit by March update -apparently- (and hopefully April too), the traffic drastically reduced especially from Google, i'm still doing fine on Bing still. Because of that, i'm seriously thinking about changing my SEO strategy completely (since i'm still learning SEO, i'm doing this as a case study.)
I'm thinking about first, analysing the website (full audit) to fix the issues and then delete the articles that are not bringing any traffic. After doing that, I'm thinking of uploading more pillar articles on mass (like 50-100 articles a month) and watch the results. However, as far as i know, the core updates are still not finished and this could lead to bad results than to what it is now.
So, my question is simple, i hear a lot say "don't edit anything till the updates are over" but this is taking so long, not usual .. what's your advice? should i consider doing all this or wait till everything is over? Your perspective would appreciated.
