Up-and-coming social media platforms?
I feel like all the main social media sites are either dying or just getting worse and worse.
Note that I’m mostly interested in image-sharing rather than video… so Tiktok feels outta the question for me.
I mostly use social media to promote my artwork and connect with like-minded creatives, but all I really use now is Instagram… and even that feels like its been ruined by Meta.
I might look into Mastadon, but I wonder if it’ll ever really take off
Are there any other platforms worth checking out?

Try tumblr or something of that sort

In time I think that Activity Pub, the technology that Mastodon, and Threads, runs on will win out.
The money will be in offering server management services.
