  Unable to rename conversion action In Google Ads

  So everytime I try to rename the conversion name, it says I can’t use the same name for another conversion action BUT there is none. There was one previously, but it has been removed.

  Does anyone encounter this issue?? My conversions are not reflecting on GAds because of this. We’re using a third party tool to track our offline conversion and it has to be a specific name.

  Just to confirm, this isn’t an automatically created conversion by Google, correct? There’s very little that you can edit on those, which is frustrating.

  You can also try enabling the removed conversion, renaming it with something like [Old], and then removing it again so you know it won’t be flagged as a duplicate name in the future.

  These are basic – but I hope they can help!
