Hello, My site got hit by the google core update. It was growing slowly and I was at around 10 to 12k pageviews monthly. And suddenly after march, all traffic dropped to 1k pv a month. firstly, for me, it took time to understand all this and after reading a lot of posts on internet it said that wait for a couple of weeks, but for my site, it’s been months. What do you think I should do now? How to analyze if there is any other problem? Also, my new content is not recognizing by google, You know where the new content section is on the search console, I have posting consistently but it’s not showing up there, Can this be a google analytics migration problem?

You need to dive deeper into your website technicals to pin it to a few possibilities as to why it happened in the first place. Next steps will majorly be guided by that audit.

Happened with my website also. Turned out I was showing hidden content to crawler in page source. Fixed the issue and saw ranking improvements post that but impressions haven’t come back to pre March level yet

Going to need way more information:

    – What links have you built? (normally buying links is the main culprit)
    – Are you writing good content or are you using ChatGPT content?
    – What did you rank for? What other sites rank for those terms?
