    Tips to drive more conversions?

Posted by seohelper on September 30, 2021 at 2:56 pm

I’ve been running Facebook Ads for the past 4 months without much luck. The Shopify website I’m driving traffic to is ball-studio.com. I started off having separate ad groups targeting people interested in Kobe, Lebron, the NBA, and Home Office with an objective of Add to Cart since i did not have any conversions at the time. This resulted in a ton of add to carts but no conversions. I read on this subreddit that I should just start with a campaign objective of Conversions, so i switched to that and I started to get about 4-5 conversions per month for the ad group targeting Home Office. I also have a retargeting campaign setup. What else can I do to improve what I’m doing and drive more conversions? Is Facebook Ads not the right channel for me? My budget is between $10-$20/day.

I also have an Etsy store that has over 340 sales with all 5/5 star reviews in less than a year, so I know the products can sell and people like it. Maybe my website just isn’t conversion optimized?

Put reviews on your product page, you can screenshot from Etsy and put it in there, you can also put timely sales

So i want to start by saying that I am not a facebook ads guy, I work in google mostly. So I can’t give too many specifics on how to improve your campaign but I can tell you that targeting people interested in Kobe, Lebron, and the NBA is probably a bit too broad for what you’re selling. If you could combine those interests with people who are also in the market for wall art or t shirts you would have a better chance of converting. There are lots of people who are into basketball who have absolutely no intent to buy wall art. This is probably also why your home office ad group is the only one that has been converting because those people are looking for the **products** that you carry and occasionally you show to someone who is also an NBA fan, and that’s who converts.

Hope this all makes sense and helps! Let me know if you need me to clarify anything
