If someone had a TikTok account that they barely posted on months ago, and haven’t posted since, would their growth be affected if they starting posting again on the same account? Or would making a new account to start posting be a better choice

I don’t actually know very much about tic tock but from what I’ve seen is that they really boost new accounts so it would be easier for you to get a viral video with a new account. It maybe harder to be seen on an older account, make sure you have good content prepared if you make a new one and post a bunch at once. (Again not an expert just what I would do)

Do you already have followers? If so keep it, If you don’t have followers then start new

I’ve tried this twice. I haven’t posted in a month and only get about 20 followers a day now. If I start posting again, the views won’t climb until after posting 3x a day for a few days.

(I only have 13.5k followers, so my account is still relatively small)

I wouldn’t focus on tiktok too much rn. It could get banned and everything you put on there was for no reason.
