  Often first thing to do is optimise size od any media, videos ans images to a good and small format, webp is prefered for images.

  Make sure the images on your site are no too big. preferably below 1 megabyte. I had a similar issue with my site and it turned out most of my images were like 5 megabytes and compressing them really helped. Also if you have the budget id recommend WP-Rocket it is a time saver for sure.
