Suggestions for tools to manage CEO’s account on LinkedIn?
Hi, all. I’m looking into some tools to manage my company’s CEO’s LinkedIn profile *without* simply password sharing.
We currently have Hootsuite, which could be helpful for publishing content. However, I can’t seem to figure out if we are able to reshare our Company’s posts with the CEO’s profile from Hootsuite, if that makes sense.
Any insights or ideas will be helpful. How have y’all handled this in the past? Thank you in advance!

Use a password sharing tool like 1password. The CEO can give specific people access to copy and paste his log in info without seeing his login information.

Navigating professional social media tools can be a bit confusing at times.
Remember Buffer? Did you ever give it a shot? I’ve been using it for a while, and what I love about it is that it provides a feature to repost stuff. Just connect the profiles you want and reshare posts when needed. Another one you might find useful is AgoraPulse. It’s a great tool with awesome features.
However, just a heads up; resharing on LinkedIn from company’s profile to a personal profile is currently not possible through any tool due to the limitations of LinkedIn API. I know, it’s a bummer. But, hey, technology evolves fast!
If managing and growing your CEO’s LinkedIn profile is what you’re mainly after, consider a dedicated LinkedIn management tool, like Linked Helper or Expandi? Yeah, they aren’t free, but might be worth looking into!
Finally, if possible, maybe you could get the CEO to give you administrative access to their profile if LinkedIn allows that. Might streamline things a bit more for you? Anyway, hope that helps a lil. Holler if you have any more queries.
