  • Struggling with Reel views on my new Instagram account

Posted by Jaded-Slide-6700 on April 12, 2023 at 12:39 am

I’ve recently started a new Instagram account and have managed to gain a few followers (real ones), but I’m not getting any views on my Reels.

I’ve even tried remixing popular reels to boost views, but it hasn’t helped. Is this low organic reach normal for new accounts? How can I grow my account with such limited reach?

IG has stopped pushing reels as hard as they use to and have gone back to photos and carousels

I would try to ente with the followers you do have and also engage with those who’s accounts are similar to yours. So that way they can reciprocate the engagement possibly

I didn’t hear that they aren’t pushing reels as hard. Doesn’t make much sense to me given how popular TikTok is and how Facebook typically goes after other popular platforms.
However organic content is very difficult to get traction in without a following, especially if it’s a business account. Facebook encourages ad spend to get more views. Of course there are ways to build without doing that like partnering with other accounts that have a bigger following and sharing your content there. Good luck!

It’s the same with established accounts. I was getting about 5-10k views with reels a couple months ago and my most recent three have 1, 42, and 3 views respectively.

It’s normal for new Instagram accounts to experience slow growth and limited organic reach at first. Gaining views and growing your account organically can take time. Here are some steps to help you grow your Instagram account organically:

Make your account visually appealing. Adopt a theme or tone for your feed, choose an easily searchable username and name, and write an informative bio.

Engage with people and follow small accounts in your niche. Finding people in your niche is crucial, as they’re more likely to watch your content and follow you. If you’re struggling to find them, consider hiring a marketing agency like Ascend Viral, which specializes in helping users grow their accounts organically.

Post at least once daily, and make your posts interactive. Stay active, respond to DMs, and build relationships with others. Share stories, conduct polls, and host Q&A sessions.
