  • Struggling with declining engagement on Instagram. Any suggestions?

Recently, I collaborated on a reel and posted it on Instagram. Despite having a total of 3K followers between my account and my collaborator’s, the reel received minimal likes.

A repost by my skateboard sponsor with 20K followers didn’t fare any better. No matter what I do, my engagement doesn’t seem to improve.

How do you handle such situations?

In reality, there is not much you can do with current Meta politics, but one tool helped me a lot to at least understand what kind of content is interesting to my real target audience. With Snoopreport Instagram activity tracker you can monitor any public profile and receive detailed reports about hashtags and posts that resonate with your target audience, as well as observe their new followings, unfollowings, and thematic interests. This information can provide valuable clues as to what content your audience is engaging with and help you adjust your strategy accordingly.

Declining engagement can happen for various reasons, such as changes in the algorithm or shifts in user preferences. Experimenting with different types of posts, utilizing trending hashtags, and actively engaging with your audience can also help revitalize engagement.

Sounds like the content itself is not good. Start creating content that gives people a reason to want to watch. Use your voice. Entertain. Inspire. Motivate. Lots of things you can do
