  • Struggling to Reach Non-Followers with Instagram Reels!

Posted by No_Setting3333 on July 12, 2023 at 9:56 am

My Instagram account currently sits at a modest 2.5k followers. The majority of views on my reels, which typically sit around the 800 mark, seem to come exclusively from my followers. I’d say my engagement is still reasonable, with likes typically accounting for 5-10% of the total viewer count.
Previously, my reels would rack up between 8k to 12k views, but recently I’m finding it difficult to break past 1.1k views. My content tends to run longer, often around 30 seconds. Here are some stats from my latest reel:

    230 Accounts reached (200 Followers | 30 Non-Followers)
    2 Saves

Any advice or suggestions are very welcome. You can find me on Instagram by using the same handle as my Reddit username, just append “waves” to the end.”

Instagram’s algorithms could be the reason you’re not reaching a wider audience. You could try mixing things up by producing reels of various lengths and employing a range of targeted hashtags. Also, consider tagging relevant accounts in your posts, but be careful not to use more than 10 hashtags to avoid being flagged as spam by Instagram’s algorithm.

If you’re still struggling to grow your reach, you might want to think about hiring a growth agency like Ascandviral. They can help you expand your follower count and increase the reach of your content. And remember, it’s essential to create content that resonates with your audience – this is more likely to generate engagement, thereby increasing its visibility.

You’re doing pretty decent with your current followers, man. To catch non-followers, you gotta switch it up a bit. Try new styles, new vibes, ride on trending waves. I use Boost App Social to keep up with trends, so my content stays lit.
