  • Struggling to grow my fitness Instagram account

Posted by Successful-Soil-4879 on April 10, 2023 at 3:14 pm

I started a fitness Instagram account about six months ago and initially saw some decent growth. However, I’ve been stuck at around 2k followers for the past two months. I post daily workout tips, motivational quotes, and progress photos, but can’t seem to gain any more traction.

I’ve noticed other accounts in my niche growing much faster. Should I consider buying followers to boost my numbers?

Too late to the game in my opinion. Unless you’re doing something very good, or very special, I wouldn’t expect the account to amass a huge following.

I would guess your content is just not that new or interesting. Have you thought about reevaluating your content?

Do you engage with your audience? Are your a fitness professional or just an enthusiast? Is your goal to grow your offline fitness business or just be a fitness influencer? Because unless your goal is just to have a large number of followers, buying influencers isn’t going to help you.

What’s your objective with increasing followers?

Do you want to sell your program or get brand deals?

You can do both with your current following

Focus on content marketing especially videos with enticing quick burst edits it’s a proven way to release dopamine. Or find a pain point and then try to fiddle into that space for instance believe it or not people use andrew tate as a way to get them to follow them once they’re hooked it’s all about selling your personal agenda which can be visit to website, program, tutorials, software etc. Also if you’re offering fitness services i highly recommend starting a fitness agency and then use saas to sell your fitness services and social media services to your clients. Hope it makes sense

Skip buying followers, it’s bad for your account’s rep. Think back to how you got your first 2K followers and do more of what worked.

The fitness world is packed with competition, so why not team up with other influencers? You can do cool stuff like fitness challenges or shoutouts.

And don’t forget to chat with your followers! Having real connections beats having loads of followers any day.
