Should I care about broken links on subdomains?
Hi everyone,
I’m using Ahrefs for my website and I noticed that one of the issues includes “Page has links to broken page”. And there are 28 such pages but all of them are from the support forum subdomain.
“forum.mydomain/…”.
Should I care about this issue? It’s a user-generated content and users leave different links on my forum. Does it affect my SEO?
There are no such links from the main domain, but only from the forum subdomain.

Yes broken links makes it look like someone isn’t maintaining my the site

Very very low priority. More of a ‘site hygiene’ thing than SEO.
Treat it as a backlog task

Does those pages have weight? If not, redirect them to something else otherwise create quality content there

I check on a regular basis and fix them immediately.
