  setting up conversions / events in facebook ads

  Hi,

  I am trying to set up conversions/events in fb.

  I have a website, people will land on homepage , then they might check out pages like who are we, what services we provide, but i am interested in clicking “sign up”, then they sign up and land at member’s area.

  ​

  So, This is lead conversion. I am confused about events. Lets say I create event – when someone click “signup” . My question is if someone reaches my home page , click about us and then click signup, sign up and goes to member’s area. Its still counted as 1 conversion or user has to directly go to sign up page from homepage ?

  However & whatever pages they go to, if they came through your ad & sign up
  , It will be counted as 1 lead/signup/conversion.
