  Setting Up Auto-Tagging

  I have a Smart Mode Account with Google Ads and I want to enable auto-tagging so that my Google Analytics Account will get more data from my ads using GCLID. The instructions seem simple (1) Once in your google ads account, 2) Click on Settings from the menu in the left sidebar, 3)
  Go to Account Settings and enable Auto-tagging)….however, there is no “Account Settings” option in my account.

  I’m wondering if Auto-tagging is only available for expert mode accounts?

  P.S. I hope to eventually switch to Expert Mode, but I’m completely new with Google Ads and Analytics and have decided to focus on learning Analytics first so that ideally once I switch to expert mode I can actually understand the data I’m getting.

  If you click on the search button in the top right of your account, you can type in Account Settings and bring up the option. It should still be available for your account.
