  SEO Tools for 2023 on a budget – What is the best set of tools for SEO purposes on a tight budget?

  Hello guys,

  what set of tools can you recommend to a beginning freelancer? I’m a person with a few years of experience in general marketing (doing a little bit of everything in a small company). I want to specialize and build an additional source of income both freelancing as a SEO consultant and grow and position my blogs in a very particular industry/subject.

  I need some help with choosing the tools to do so, without paying too much, especially first few months. Those tools can get really expensive real quick, and if you are not earning in dollars, then the tool becomes even more expensive.

  So I need to build a stack of tools for:

  * content writing support (suggesting related and secondary keywords, counting occurrences, nice to have: quick comparison with the competition in-app \[like getting what phrases/headers are used on top 10 pages\]);
  * SERP/keyword monitoring on given phrases;
  * backlink analysis.

  When I say that I’m on a tight budget I mean that I would love to limit my spending to $80 per month (I can stretch to 100-120 USD per month if its really worth it) without paying up for a yearly subscription.

  Any recommendations?
