  • SEO for E-COMMERCE SITE?

Currently updating a client’s site and we are running into the issue of content. Currently, we are using information that is specific to these products that is given to us by the manufacturer. Is this the right way to go about it since it is specific metrics and findings?

At the end of the day, I do not want this site to get the index for plagiarism by Google. Does anyone know if Google will index me if we are using information given to us by the manufacturer on the website?

Google does not count manufacturers description as duplicate content.

The way to beat your competition in this regard is to go above and beyond what they give you.

    1. Rewrites
    2. Punch-ups
    3. Content additions
    4. User-generated content
    5. Integrated reviews
