SEO – Duplicate Content on 2 Affiliated Websites
Hello,
I have a question as I am working on improving the SEO of two affiliated companies that have separate domains. Let’s say Company A and Company B.
Company A is a retail distributor of Company B and historically hosted Company B’s newsletter on their website in addition to being hosted on Company B’s website.
Our web developer mentioned this was bad as it negatively punishes Company B’s search ranking due to duplicate content.
Is there an easy solution for this? Would it be possible to inform Google that Company B is the original creator?
Obviously, we want to host the content on both websites as they cater to separate but related audiences but we don’t want to negatively affect the originating Company B search ranking.

Add noindex to those duplicate pages on company A’s Website.
