I have generated a backlink analysis report for our company and close competitors.
The report shows Monthly Visitors and Organic Traffic. In some cases monthly visitors is higher than organic traffic, and in others organic traffic is higher than monthly visitors. For example:
Us: 17.1k monthly, 4.6k organic
Competitor 1: 24.6k monthly, 7.7k organic
Competitor 2: 14.2k monthly, 19.4K organic
I think this highlights that we need to work on increasing our organic visibility in search results. However, I am confused with competitor 2 has a higher organic traffic than they do monthly visitors and our monthly visitors seems to be quite high considering the low organic traffic. Am I misunderstands the data?

I believe Semrush visitor data is estimated; I don’t think they can directly track how many people visit most sites. Sometimes you’ll encounter anomalies like this.
