    Search ads

Hi, I run search ads for a web design agency. I would like know if I should be creating landing pages separately for each business type? E.g real estate website design or law firms website design etc. This niche is very competitive and cpls are through the roof. I’m just looking for a strategy to narrow down my targeting to certain niches (where competition is low). My goal is to increase my conversion rate and bring my cpl down. Is it a good strategy to go with?

    absolutely!

Dan Kennedy talks about this in his book No B.S. Direct Marketing – worth a read.

The answer is: A/B testing. Create niche landing pages and test them against the main landing page and see which one performs better.

Yes. New ad, ad group, ad text, ad landing page, landing page content, per keyword. Anything less than this is just laziness.
