  Restricted Instagfam account – follow request

  Hello,

  Say you’ve previously restricted an Instagram account while they were following you, and then later removed that account from your followers. The account isn’t blocked, you just don’t follow each other and under their profile it says you’ve restricted them.

  I know that any DMs they send you will go to the message requests folder, however if your account is set to private would they still be able to request to follow you and if so, would it appear as a notification on your end or be hidden? Thank you!
