ranking double on 1 key word (SERP 10 and 11).
Hi Seo experts,

I have two expert questions:

The first; With my website (e-commerce) I’m ranking double on a keyword, to be a bit more specific I rank for that keyword both on position 10 and on position 11 with two different pages a. the home page and b. the (specific) category page.
From a customer perspective the category page should be the preferred one as the keyword matches the content of that specific category page nicely. but throughout the years other websites created links to both pages. If all the link juice for that keyword would go to the category page maybe i can already end up on postion 4 or 5 which would yield significantly more traffic.
**Q1. What would be the preferred route to achieve this?**

The second; My e-commerce store has both online services but also a physical location customers can visit to view and test the products and pickup and buy the products. This physical location is know to google as it is published in google my business.
In the local search results (customers who search for specific keyword from the area of the physical store) I rank for the same keyword as from Q1 on place 2-3. But nearly 99% of my business is sold online
**Q2. Can it be that google thinks that I’m more a local physical store and therefore ranks me lower on non local searches? Any recommendations?**

Looking forward to your expert opinions!

Thanks
Best regards,
Vincent
