  • Quora is it worth it?

I have come across numerous videos that imply that Quora is an effective method to drive traffic to a website. However, I personally attempted it and did not achieve the desired outcome. The advertisements primarily attracted bot traffic, leading me to wonder if there is a superior alternative that can yield better results.

No. People go there for answers. Not to click on some link to then find the answer.

    Quora was good in 2015-2020

    Now it’s medium by far.

What a fascinating conversation – not saying this to u/OP

In a forum where everyone says “they” cannot rank (I see no problems) – and then everyone says you can’t out-rank Quora and this person smartly says “hey – why dont we rank stuff on Quroa”

But no – people will put down Quora. the smart people are already at Quora

OP: you have your answer 🙂

Quora answers occasionally appear in the SERPs. So there’s still some opportunity there. I don’t notice Quora responses in SERPs often enough to advocate for pursuing the channel for my client. (I’d choose LinkedIn over Quora.)

It used to be really good traffic source until around 3 years back. Then it got hit hard by an algorithm change. Since Reddit got a boost from the recent algo update it might have gotten a boost as well.

If the question is relevant to you then no harm in answering it with a link. But I wouldn’t put too much effort on that.

Lol I’ve tried but quora is so filled with batshit insane stuff, like 90% of it is polarising posts by trolls or bots followed by the most garbage answers one could dream of. So I figured it wasn’t worth whatever little traffic it could possibly bring

We hired some consultant to post on quora some years before, it didn’t work well. Just our experience.
