SEO noob here with a lot of web development experience.

I am a software developer and I’ve built a web application with React. I need to create a generic public landing website for my application that has pricing/FAQs/mission statement, etc.

Obviously, I don’t care if my React web app is SEO optimized. I only care that my public landing site is optimized.

I’d love to just create the public website with React, but SPA’s are not ideal for SEO without Server-side Rendering and a lot of work.

What is ideal for getting a quick up and running, simple SEO-optimized site? Wix? WordPress?

I’d like to use my own HTML and CSS, maybe there are HTML templates out there for SEO?

    Any advice appreciated.

Use WordPress, and avoid Wix as well as Squarespace.

Since it sounds like you’re capable of using your own HTML and CSS, maybe consider a framework like Bootstrap? Also, you probably should care about your app being indexable (there are lots of SEO benefits),
