  • Questions on Google My Business Multiple Locations.

Our company is rapidly expanding and we are in talks with leasing offices to open two additional locations. The business name will remain the same for all locations.

Each of these locations will be managed by the corporate office. They will consist of physical offices staffed by employees. The offices are located in different counties.

As an IT company, we are seeking information on how to manage multiple locations on our Google My Business (GMB) page. Is it recommended to keep all locations under one account? If so, what is the process to do so while following Google guidelines and ensuring proper SEO practices?

We want to make sure we do things right and have received differing opinions from SEO companies we have consulted. We would like to follow Google’s guidelines in managing our GMB page for multiple locations.
In advance, I appreciate the advice you provide.

Yes, you want to have all your listings under the same account – this will make it easier for maintenance and reporting

While logged into your GBP profile, you can manually add the new listings – Google will likely want to verify/validate and will give you an option or two – typically they want to mail you a postcard with a code.

Fill out the profile completely, address, phone number, hours of operation, etc.
