  • Questions About SEO/Link Building…

    Hi folks,

I have a few questions, if you folks could help me out. I use a few of the popular tools out there and some of the data is a bit off when compared to another tool. One will say that a keyword is easier to rank for and the other says it’s hard to rank for it. How can I get a true feel for the data and if it can help me with doing SEO?

My biggest issue is building quality backlinks for the category/blog pages. I can write a great blog post and it shall be a long form post filled with targeted keywords.

How would you folks, go about building quality links for your own web properties and for the work you do for your clients? How long do you folks spend on your back linking? Or Do you hire an outsourcer for this?

    Thanks for reading this post…

An interview with Brian Dean / Backlinko mentions that he spends about four times as much time to promote his content as he does writing it.

I think this speaks volumes about how important marketing has become. Search engines looks for signals, and these signals come to a large extent from the promotional part.

Use multiple tools and cross reference. The backlink game is a highly guarded one. My specialty is backlinks. I do have a partner and some employees but I personally spend all my time on backlink research. Backlinks are the most powerful ranking factor and links can be manipulated easily. However, that’s not mainstream what I just said. People like to think the system isn’t rigged.
