Question about ad/post and video view audiences
I am running engagement campaings with videos in the top of the funnel.
To capture leads from these campaings I have set up an ad/post engagement audience. I also set up a 10-second video view audience which I am not currenlty using, in case I need it going forward.
Does ad/post engagement audiences include 3 second video views?
And, why does it seem like these audiences doesn’t populate correctly?
Looking at the 7-day audiences I set up they are currently at these sizes:
– 10 second video play – 3.400
– Ad/post engagement – 3.700
Over the last 7 days my videos have received 27.519 10-second views (62.448 3-second views).
I have checked with the 10-second video play audience that I have selected the correct videos.
Any idea why my audiences doesn’t seem to populate correctly?

Do you have your placements set to “automatic” by chance?
The biggest mistake I see with creating custom audiences from video views is not excluding the Audience Network. Any views from audience network traffic will NOT populate into a custom audience.
So go to your ad set and be sure to exclude all Audience Network traffic if you haven’t already, and you should see it begin to populate correctly.
