Question about a micro-niche
Hey guys,
I found a micro-niche which has the following parameters:
1. It’s USA only – which is always good
2. It’s highly transactional – nobody will ever every ever read any of these materials unless they really need the things I am writing about.
3. It’s a micro-niche, i.e. there’s a limited number of articles I can right about.
4. There are 10-20 big sites who write about the macro-niche, which includes my micro-niche, but there are only 2-3 good sites who write about my micro-niche.
5. Those 3 competitors don’t use SEO that much, i.e. the texts are kinda short, and they aren’t trying to create cool icons for other articles on the page, i.e. they don’t try to increase the number of visited URLs. Also, they don’t use socials at all. I am not sure whether socials can be leveraged in this micro-niche atll, but I am sure that it would make a perfect sense to at least create a Facebook group, Twitter, IG and jus post into them on the daily basis, even there might not be that much of traffic. They don’t do this, for some reasons.
6. Business Model – these sites don’t use the referral links and it might be hard to get the referral links because they write about a specific thing which is applicable to many businesses like Walmart. I am not sure how to get those referral links. I just want to write out 300 articles in this niche with the high quality in mind and then place good referral links to those big companies, but I am not sure how it would work out.
7. The biggest kw is 4K, everything else is 500-200. And many of the keywrods are “vital keywords”, it would be something like “cash backs Walmart”, so it’s pointless to try and write articles for these vital keywords. And there aren’t that many non-vital keywords (i.e. non-branded) keywords in this niche after you take out the branded ones.Can you please advise me on whether this is a good niche or not and how to try and make money there.
