PPC to drive trafic to Airbnb listing
Hello Everyone, what do you think about using PPC to drive trafic to several airbnb listing in order to get more rentals?
To be more specific :
1. Is it technically possible to drive trafic to a website that we don’t own ? i Guess that it is since we can drive trafic to Typeform for example. but is there exceptions ?
2. Is it a good way to get more rentals or is it necessary to build my own website ?

I think it’d be a massive waste of money unless you are renting out luxury units for $500 – $1000+ a night.
I’m also pretty sure you won’t be able to track your traffic on AirBnBs back end so you won’t know if a stay came from an ad or organically.
The best way to get more stays is to have competitive prices and really strong reviews. Start your rates below average, build up a good number of reviews, then increase your rates to average but competitive rates.

You can do this but you won’t be able to directly measure the results, i.e. how many bookings if any came from your ads.
Theoretically, AirB&B can complain to Google if you’re advertising their site. Also, you probably won’t be able to use the AirB&B brand in your creative, which means your CPCs are going to be quite high and relevance quite low, i.e. low CTRs.
Lastly, your ads will be lost among the hundreds of other travel companies advertising similar options.
